The Competition was founded by SIMEI and ENOVITIS in collaboration with Unione Italiana Vini, in order to give recognition to the innovations in exhibition at the 24th SIMEI and at the 8th ENOVITIS (In Milan from 22 to 26 November 2011). The initiative aims at enhancing and informing about the work of the producers of machinery, products and services, which present product and process innovations which can lead to a technical progress in the viticultural and oenological field.
The technological innovations were presented for assessment and examined by a committee composed by the technical staff of the most important Italian Companies, members of Unione Italiana Vini, supported for the scientific part by distinguished professionals in the scientific academic research field.
